After a long day of work, on the trip back home, Mohamed's life changed completely. A traffic accident caused a deformity in his neck; his legs hardly fulfilled their function and karate went from being his favorite hobby to becoming an impossible dream. The diagnosis confirmed a dislocation at C7-T1. Our medical team carried out a risky intervention that could have left this young person quadriplegic. After fixing his spine and releasing his spinal cord, Mohamed evolved so fast that he challenged the doctors to a karate match to show them how strong he was. Which goes to show the importance of attitude and the determination to improve.
