BrainXperience, 1,000 miles of solidarity

05/05/2016

BrainXperience is an extreme motorboat competition that has driven Joaquín Inglada Alonso to support the work done by Doctor Clavel Foundation. With this 1,000-mile journey, we seek to raise funds to combat hydrocephalus that affects thousands of children in underdeveloped countries.

BrainXperience arose as a result of the serious accident that Joaquín Inglada suffered in 2015. After being operated for a traumatic brain injury by Dr. Carlos Asencio, of Doctor Clavel Foundation's medical team, Joaquín wanted to support the different projects and missions carried out by the Foundation with a charity initiative.

The journey starts in Barcelona and covers 1,000 miles to reach Seville. During 5 days, there will be extremely difficult stretches due to the number of hours and the physical exhaustion that this entails for a person with a disability.

These 1,000 miles will be not only a sports challenge but a contribution to solidarity, since it is intended to raise the maximum amount of funds possible through micro-donations by individuals and contributions from companies to be able to care for the maximum number of children.

It will have the unconditional support of great friends, among whom are Juan Félix Bravo Aguilar, world champion and Guinness record.
